Meet Dr. John
Dr. Isbrandt doesn’t have much of a professional bio (just kidding click the previous link to learn more) – just know he’s great. Dr. Isbrandt resides in downtown St. Charles with his wife and has three grown children. When he’s not practicing dentistry, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, snow skiing and biking.
Mary has been with our practice since August, 2009. She has over a decade of experience working in the dental field. She truly enjoys working in a positive and comforting work enviroment and strives to provide every patient with an amazing experience in our office. She and her husband have resided in Elgin all their lives and raised their four children there, as well. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoys going camping with her family, friends and English Retriever, Major.
Mel joined our team in May 2017. She has been working in the field of dentistry for over 25 years. Needing braces as a child gave Mel an early introduction to the dental office. Mel felt the braces not only changed her smile, but her entire life. This influenced her to want to make the same impact in our patients’ lives. At home, Mel enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her daughter. She loves to “eat, drink & be merry.”
Sara has been in dentistry since graduating from ECC’s Dental Assisting program in 2005. She is a board certified dental assistant with multiple certifications including radiography, infection control, coronal polishing, fluoride application and sealant placement. Sara prides herself on creating long lasting relationships with her patients and keeping up with continuing education classes in order to provide the best quality of care. She loves being an “Aunty” and spending time with her husband and family. In her free time she is busy crafting/completing DIY projects, singing, enjoying nature, and loving her fur-babies!
Erin has been a dental hygenist with Dr. Isbrandt’s office since graduating in 2006. Having grown up in St. Charles, she decided to move back to the area after completing her BS degree in Dental Hygiene at East Tennessee State University. Erin’s kind disposition and vast dental knowledge allows her to give her patients the ultimate care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books and playing with her Airedale Terrier, Sadie.
Michelle graduated from Marquette University in 1990 with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. She has been practicing hygiene in the Fox Valley area for the past 18 years. The most enjoyable part of Michelle’s job is building a great relationship with her patients. She finds that creating trust, as well as providing valuable education is of the utmost value. She stays active in her spare time with family and friends and enjoys cross training, reading and traveling.
Laura has lived in St. Charles for a little over 20 years and has raised her three children here. Her hobbies are taking long walks with her dog, Zoey, as well as practicing yoga. What she likes the most about the dental field is helping people get out of pain and also seeing patients satisfied with their smiles as they walk out the door. Just knowing that she is able to help people feel better is what makes her love her job.
Patti graduated from Phoenix College Dental Hygiene in 1995 and worked in the Valley of the Sun for 25 years. Many years of her career were spent focusing on the “chronologically gifted” in retirement communities. She also loved volunteering at the VA Medical Center. Continuing her education, she graduated from ASU in 2013 with a degree in Aging and Life Development. She moved to St Charles in 2016 and has grown to love the Fox River Valley. In her spare time, a few of her favorite things are biking, yoga, traveling and enjoying different culinary experiences.
