How We Work
Regular dental visits are essential to make sure oral health problems — from tooth decay to oral cancer — are detected and treated in a timely manner. At our office, your oral health is our primary concern. We want to make sure your teeth stay healthy, function well and look great! From regular cleanings and exams to advanced restorative treatment, all of your routine dental needs can be met right here.
The very first step when considering specific dental treatments is to come to Dean Street Dental and have the professionals consult with you. Our comprehensive consultation with digital X-Rays will lead you in the right path – first we will examine everything and second we will address your needs & concerns. We will never push you into doing any treatments, we will only recommend what you NEED and consult with you regarding what you WANT.
2) Understand How We Work
Sanitization
We start by always sterilizing all of our equipment and materials using our autoclave machine.
Covid Preventive
Next we sanitize the work area and front desk to ensure that the office environment is disease-free.
Family Safe
Our check-in procedures and waiting room allow a family to wait together while also social distancing.
Review Dental Records
We always start with a review of your previous dental records so we understand your history.
Comprehensive Examination
Next we begin with a comprehensive examination looking at all of the teeth and oral health in general.
Cancer Screening
Often overlooked by patients, coming to the dentist twice yearly to be screened for oral cancer is a necessity.
Panoramic Digital X-Rays
We then take panoramic digital x-rays to view the teeth, both jaws, surrounding structures and tissues.
Intra-oral Radiographs
Check tooth roots and bones surrounding the teeth and monitor the general health of your teeth and jawbone.
Report Dental Findings
This is where we discuss with you our overall findings and report any issues that you might be having.
Recommended Services
Then we always recommend our best service to fix said issue(s), but we never "sell" any solution to you.
Address Any Concerns
Next we address any concerns you have about your own oral health and smile concerns.
Propose Treatment Plan
We will propose a treatment plan and run your insurance coverage, along with breakdown the financials.
Schedule Followup
If you agree with the treatment plan and are happy with your insurance coverage, we will schedule you to begin your treatment
Get Second Opinion
We do not force anyone to schedule right away. If you want to think about it, that's okay! Just call us when you make your decision
Return For Treatment
Once you are ready to move forward and see that our office is conveniently located, you'll return for your treatment(s)
Treatment Session(s)
Depending on your proposed treatment plan, you may be set after just one more visit or you will return for a few sessions
